GVA Groningen


In 2025, I was commissioned by GVA Groningen to create a series of illustrations for their publication Voegwerk. The project focuses on the personal stories and challenges faced by the people of Groningen due to the ongoing earthquake crisis. Working closely with graphic designer Peter Musschenga and editor Erik Wijnholds, I designed the cover and multiple interior spreads. This project allowed me to use my style for a meaningful cause, combining narrative illustration with sensitive storytelling.

In 2025 werd ik door GVA Groningen (Geestelijke Verzorging Aardbevingsgebied) gevraagd om de illustraties te verzorgen voor hun publicatie Voegwerk. Dit project draait om de persoonlijke verhalen en de complexe problematiek waar Groningers mee te maken hebben door de aardbevingen. In nauwe samenwerking met grafisch ontwerper Peter Musschenga en redacteur Erik Wijnholds ontwierp ik de cover en diverse spreads voor het binnenwerk. Dit project gaf me de kans om mijn stijl in te zetten voor een maatschappelijk thema, waarbij de focus lag op narratieve illustraties met een sterke inhoudelijke boodschap.
